How to get there from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport

Airport taxis are available through vendors at the international arrivals at Terminal 1B. Alternatively, most hotels can arrange pick ups from the airport. Uber also works in Nairobi and at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), but there is no free WiFi available at the airport, so you will require roaming data capabilities to use Uber.

You can take taxis from your hotel or use Uber, which works in Nairobi and is the cheapest and often easiest way of getting around. Public transport is through the matatu system, but there is no map or fixed departure times. Walking is not advised.
